Our Custom Commission service connects you with the right artist to create an original work tailored to your space, vision, and collection. Whether you’re inspired by an existing piece, looking for a specific scale or palette, or beginning with an idea, we’ll guide the process from the initial creative brief through final placement.

How It Works

Find the Right Artist
We’ll help match you with an artist whose work and process align with your vision, then facilitate a clear creative brief covering scale, palette, subject matter, placement, and other important considerations.

Confirm the Commission
Commission pricing follows the artist’s standard rates. A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves the artist’s time and begins the creative process.

Follow the Process
Most commissions are completed within 8–12 weeks, depending on the artist, scale, and complexity of the work. We’ll keep you informed with progress updates along the way.

Delivery & Placement
Once your piece is complete, we can coordinate delivery and placement through our In-Home Experience, helping ensure the finished work feels at home in your space.

Commission Policy

Because commissioned artwork is created specifically for you, custom pieces are not eligible for return. If the finished work ultimately isn’t the right fit, we offer one exception: the value may be applied as a credit toward another available piece by the same artist when requested within 30 days of delivery.
